#FOTD: lo-fi and chill makeup look + trying out FS Cosmetics

I miss putting on makeup for no particular reason and I suddenly thought of being fancy. 💓 In addition, I bought a couple of new makeup from Features & Shades (FS) Cosmetics so I thought of documenting my first impressions on these products. 💁🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately I don’t have a high-end Youtuber setup (LOL!) to film a video but I still managed to use my iPhone to capture how I came up with the look.

Products Used:

Base: BLK Cosmetics Universal Skin Tint Sun Shield SPF 30 in Almond, Excel Glow Luminizer UV in GL02, Colourette Flexipowder in Hazel

Eyes: FS Cosmetics Filipiñana Eyeshadow Palette in Iniibig, Integrate by Shiseido Liquid Eyeliner, Essence Lash Princess Sculpted Volume Mascara

Cheeks, Contour, and Highlighter: FS Cosmetics Filipiñana Cheek Mousse Blush in Kasal, Cezanne Mix Color Cheek Number 20 , FS Cosmetics Eyeshadow Gel in Daydream

Lips: FS Cosmetics Filipiñana Lipstick in Maria Clara

Its my first time to use products from Features & Shades and I kinda feel bad that its just now that I’ve discovered them! I super love their Filipiñana makeup collection. ❤️ The packaging is at par to high end brands and it actually reminds me of Hourglass and Charlotte Tilbury. I love how the Filipiñana collection was well thought of especially its shade names and color selection. The names are on point to the Filipino theme and the colors are definitely perfect for Filipinas ranging from fair to morena skin tones. The price point is super affordable too. If you’re from the Philippines, you can purchase them online via Shoppee.

Among the FS Cosmetics products that I’ve used, my favorite was the Filipiñana lipstick and the eyeshadow gel. I love how the lipstick easily glides on the lips that it almost feels buttery. 😍 The lipstick also leaves a bit of a stain after long hours from its application, which I also like. As for the eyeshadow gel, the shade that I got was a skin tone yellow with hints of glitter so I used it as a highlighter. I super love how creamy it is and it easily blends on the high points of my cheeks. On the other hand, I initially had difficulties on the color pigmentation of the eyeshadow palette so I needed to build more on the application. The cheek mousse was also the same, I was expecting that it will be a bit soft and creamier in terms of formulation. I find it a bit drying and it tugs my skin when applied.

Overall, I’m super happy with the outcome of my look! 💓💓💓 Please do leave a comment if you like it as well! Until then xoxo 😘😘😘
