Last November my boyfriend and I spent our 4th year anniversary and my 31st birthday at the beautiful island of Palawan. 🏝️
I booked our tickets sometime in June last year from Cebu Pacific when they had their travel sale promo. The only downside with promo air fares is that the flights tend to reschedule and on the actual day boarding time gets delayed. Oh well. 😛💁🏻
We had a 5-day trip to Puerto Princesa, Palawan and I made sure that we had an itinerary. I don’t know about you folks but I love planning on trips. 😛😍 I guess it’s the obsessive-compulsive in me that enjoys it so much. Ha! I love browsing through The Poor Traveler for sample itineraries and also for me to get an idea on where to go, where to eat, things to do, etc.
Klook is another go-to app that I use for our travels. For an introvert and OC person like me, I love that there’s an app where you can book tours and itineraries in just one click. I was able to book our Underground River, island hopping, and city tour via the app. So easy peasy! 🤗🤗🤗
The Underground River Tour was our favorite itinerary during our trip. It was a bit of a long travel going to the place itself but it was super worth it. At first it was creepy going inside the cave but the adventure was super worth it! We didn’t take much photo inside the cave but our travel guide was super fun and friendly! We really enjoyed our tour! 😄
Day after the tour we head on to our next itinerary: Honda Bay Island Hopping. On the actual day that we went on island hopping the weather was sunny (which is good 👍🏼) but the docking area was packed with so many tourists (which is kind of unfortunate for me, lol 💁🏻). I even got frustrated with our travel guide during the island hopping tour because she wasn’t accommodating to all guests (TBH I don’t really want to talk about this part), but nevertheless my boyfriend and I had fun with the beautiful islands and beach front of Honda Bay. 😉 😊
I didn’t get to take photos during our city tour but overall our first trip to Palawan was fun and relaxing. 🥰 We also enjoyed our stay at the Canvas Boutique Hotel. I even super love their artsy wall paintings. 😍
And of course, this post wouldn’t end without a short clip of our travel to Palawan. Enjoy! 🤗
