If there was a Hong Kong giveaway, sure enough that I have some beauty items that I bought for myself!😛 In this post I’ll be sharing with you my HK beauty haul! 😍
It’s obvious that Asian beauty craze is all over HK as well. Like I’ve mentioned in my HK travel post, you can see beauty stores like Sasa, Bonjour, Colour Mix, and Mannings in every corner of the street in downtown HK. They also have Watsons too! You can imagine the 😍😍😍 look on my face every time my boyfriend and I pass by a beauty store in HK. LOL! 🤣

Now let me share with you my loot! 😁
Makeup

I only bought a few makeup items from my trip in HK. To be honest, some makeup products in HK are quite expensive. For example, Maybelline HK is selling Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation (they don’t have that here in the Philippines) and they’re selling it for HKD 120!!! 😱 That’s almost equivalent to PhP 800 in Manila and Fit Me retails for only PhP 399 on a regular selling price. Unbelievable. 😣
Nonetheless, the makeup items that I bought are mostly K-beauty. I love that HK has Innisfree, so I was able to buy a refill of my cushion (PS. can someone tell Innisfree to launch a store here in the Philippines? Please? 😛) Also, I’m curious to try the concealer from The Saem, so I was able to buy one for me and my sister.
Skincare

I’ve used the Hatomugi Skin Conditioner Toner long ago and I’m glad that its available in HK. On the other hand, the sales lady from The Saem in Mong Kok made me buy the Green Tea Lip & Eye Remover because she was very helpful when I was looking for the right shade of concealer for me and my sister. LOL. Good thing my micellar water at home is already running out. It was a good excuse for me to buy a new bottle of makeup remover. 😝

And of course, I was able to hoard Face Masks from HK! Surprisingly SNP face masks are super cheap in HK. If I remember it correctly, it retails HKD 8 (around PhP 50-PhP 60) while here in Manila it retails around PhP 90. Not bad! ☺️
Other Beauty Items

While western beauty products are quite costly in HK, I’m happy to share with you that most Asian beauty products are affordable and definitely a value for money. I was able to buy this Shiseido Eyelash Curler equivalent to PhP 500 retail price while the rest of other beauty accessories that I got were less that HKD 20 or part of a promo item in the store. I instantly bought the pouch from Nature Republic because it can be used as a pen or makeup brush kit! 😍
There you have it, folks! I’m totally excited to use these items soon! Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on these products or if you have used these items before. Until then! xoxo 😘
