What’s up, loves? β€ For this post I’ll be sharing with you the beauty products that I’ve emptied recently. I’ll also share a quick review and my thoughts about the products that I’ve used. Here we go! π
The products that I’ve emptied range from bath, hair care, and skincare. Most of the products that I’ve emptied in this post were a gift from my friends or stuff that I bought from Watsons.
Bath – The Body Shop Olive Shower Gel
I got The Body Shop shower gel as a gift last Christmas. I usually ask my friends or colleagues from work to give me shower gels or big bottles of hair conditioner or shampoo. π That way, I don’t have to buy them and its easier for my friends to pick me a gift whenever I tell them what I want to receive. Heh! π
I love the smell of this Olive shower gel and I love that it easily bubbles when you lather it with water and sponge. I will definitely buy another bottle next time. π
Hair Care Β – Human Heart Nature Smoothing Hair Serum
I’ve been using this hair serum from Human Heart Nature since last year and this empty bottle is my second. I have a dry and slightly damaged hair from my bleached my hair earlier this year. What I love about this product is that it gives me the right amount of moisture and it tames my thick and wavy hair. I love the scent too since this product has a combination of sunflower and avocado oil.
This product is best applied on your damp hair after taking a shower. You can also use this at night to give your hair the nourishment it deserves. π
Skincare
I was able to empty 3 skincare products: a face mist, a moisturizing cream, and a facial cleanser.
The Face Shop Bamboo Water Sebum Absorbing Moisture Mist
I bought this facial mist fromΒ The Face Shop in time for my Taiwan trip earlier this year. At that time, I was in need of a skincare that will give me an on-the-go-quick-fix type of product. What I like about this facial mist is that it easily gives my skin the right moisture and it also preps my face for a quick retouch of makeup. True to its promise, it does absorbs oil/sebum and makes my skin look soft and supple.
I got the SANA Nameraka moisturizing cream when I went to Tokyo last year. At first, I didn’t like this moisturizer because I find its formula too heavy on my face. Also, I’m not really a fan of heavy moisturizers to begin with. π
I eventually changed my mind when I began using this at night time, especially earlier this year when the weather in Manila was a bit cold and dry. This product gave me the amount of moisture that I need especially on the parts of my face that I have dry patches. If you’re interested to know, I have a combination type of skin. π
Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam
It took me almost a year to use up this cleansing foam from Innisfree because I was switching facial cleansers in between. I got this cleansing foam when my office mates from my previous company went to Korea for a company trip last year.
What I like about this cleansing foam is that it doesn’t leave a squeaky, dry feel after using with water. A little goes a long way when using this product and its best used with a foaming net. Also, it leaves a good moisture on the skin since olive is known for its moisturizing content.
Other Beauty Must-Haves
Cheap thrills make me happy and going to Watsons is one of my favorite past times whenever I go to the mall. I got these Oil Blotting Paper and Wet Tissues from their store and I’m happy to share with you that these are less than 100 pesos only! π These are very handy and very affordable. I’ve been using Watsons wet tissues since then and the blotting paper from Pretty Secret was a recent discovery of mine. These products are perfect for on-the-go girls like me. π
That’s it for my beauty product empties this month! Care to share your recent beauty product empties in the comment section below. I’d love to hear ’em! β€
I use the same oil blotting papers! So cheap but does the job so well.
